On the move

Where to start....Owen has grown so much over the past month. We visited family in Indiana for a few weeks and he came back to California a new little boy. He is now eating big boy food, not so much baby food anymore, and crawls around like he is on a constant mission. I have not had a chance to child-proof our place yet, so all of the interior doors are closed while he is awake. He has managed to smash his finger in a door already....luckily it wasn't too bad. He is into all kinds of mischief, and it's written all over his face. We are enjoying this new stage he is in, but I think I am going to have to go back to napping while he naps, because he is wearing me out. I am home for the summer, and am looking forward to all kinds of outings:) He had his 9 month checkup the other day and weighed in at 22 lbs. 11 oz. and is 30 inches long. Matt is scared to death that Owen is going to be a tall kid!
A friend of mine gave us an old xylophone. He would rather take it apart than play it:)Look at that face!

Waking up a happy camper!

Ava and Owen...Owen made some friends in Indiana, but also some enemies I think. He gets so excited and yanks little girls' hair...Thank goodness Ava's was in pigtails.
He loves to be tickled by Daddy

Isn't it great when they first wake up?! That is the best! I think you are right, he does have a michevious look to his sweet smile (: BTW - Thanks so much for the card - you didn't have to do that but I will admit I am like my girls and it is fun to get a card in the mail! Ha!!
